Referral Program Terms

The full rules of the Manorway Community Referral Program. Plain English where we can; legal where we have to be.

Last updated: April 26, 2026

These terms govern the Manorway Group Community Referral Program (the "Program"). By submitting a referral at manorwaygroup.com/refer, you agree to these terms.

1. The bonus

When you refer a community to Manorway and that community signs up and successfully completes its first paid month of service after the standard 90-day free trial, Manorway will pay you a one-time referral bonus based on the size of the referred community at the time of sign-up:

  • $250 for communities of 10 units or fewer
  • $500 for communities of 11 units or more

There is no cap on the number of referrals you may submit. Each successful referral earns its own bonus.

2. The benefit to the referred community

Communities that sign up via a referral receive one (1) additional month of free service on top of Manorway's standard 90-day free trial — for a total of four months at no charge. This benefit applies only to new Manorway communities and only once per community.

3. Eligibility

You may participate in the Program if you are:

  • At least 18 years old and legally able to receive payment for services in the United States.
  • Not employed by, or under contract with, Manorway Group at the time of the referral.

You may not earn a bonus for referring:

  • A community in which you serve on the board, manage, or otherwise control.
  • A community that is already in Manorway's active sales pipeline at the time the referral is submitted (we'll let you know if that's the case).
  • A community that has previously been a Manorway customer.
  • Yourself, your spouse, or a member of your household.

4. Disclosure requirement for sitting board members

If you currently serve on the board of a community that is a Manorway customer and you refer a different community to Manorway, you must disclose the existence and amount of the referral bonus to your own board, in writing, before any payment is issued. Manorway will provide a one-paragraph disclosure template on request.

This requirement protects you, protects the board on which you serve, and is consistent with the fiduciary expectations under Washington's Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act (WUCIOA) and similar laws. Manorway will not pay a bonus to a sitting board member of a customer community without confirmation that the disclosure has been made.

5. How and when bonuses are paid

Bonuses are paid by check or ACH transfer within 30 days after the referred community completes its first paid month of service. Manorway may also defer payment for any of the following reasons:

  • The referred community cancels or downgrades before the first paid month closes.
  • The referred community's payment is unsuccessful or refunded.
  • Required tax paperwork (see Section 6) has not been completed.
  • Disclosure under Section 4 has not been confirmed.

If the referred community cancels before completing its first paid month, no bonus is owed.

6. Tax reporting

Referral bonuses are taxable income. If you earn $600 or more in referral bonuses from Manorway in a single calendar year, U.S. tax law requires Manorway to issue a Form 1099-NEC. Before issuing your first payment, Manorway will request a completed IRS Form W-9 (or W-8BEN for non-U.S. persons). You are responsible for any income tax owed on referral bonuses.

7. Duplicate and conflicting referrals

If two or more individuals refer the same community, the bonus will be paid to the referrer whose submission Manorway received first, as recorded by our submission timestamp. Manorway's determination of the timestamp shall be final.

8. No agency, no public claims

Participating in the Program does not make you an employee, agent, or representative of Manorway Group. You may not make claims about Manorway's product, pricing, or services on Manorway's behalf, and you may not represent yourself as authorized to negotiate or sign agreements on behalf of Manorway.

9. How we contact referred communities

Manorway will contact each referred community at most twice via the contact information you provide, unless they ask us to follow up further. We will only disclose your name as the referrer if you give us permission to do so on the submission form or in writing afterward.

10. Privacy

Information you submit through the referral form is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use referral submissions only to contact the referred community and administer this Program.

11. Right to modify or end the Program

Manorway reserves the right to modify these terms or end the Program at any time on thirty (30) days' written notice posted at manorwaygroup.com/refer/terms. Referrals submitted before the effective date of any change will be honored under the terms in effect at the time of submission.

12. Fraud, misuse, and disqualification

Manorway reserves the right to withhold or claw back any bonus, and to remove a participant from the Program, in cases of suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or misuse — including but not limited to fake referrals, multiple accounts, undisclosed self-referrals, or violations of Section 4 (disclosure) or Section 8 (no agency).

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of the Program will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
